Description
“Perhaps I am a bear, or some hibernating animal underneath, for the instinct to be half asleep all winter is so strong in me.” Anne Morrow Lindbergh
This card is for those of us who prefer warmer temperatures, gentle breezes and summertime naps in the sun. There are aspects of winter we enjoy – the hot cup of tea cradled in hands made cold by winter’s chill; the warm blanket wrapped around icy toes; the cat curled on our lap; and a good book to lose ourselves in on a dark winter’s night.
Our tendency, however, is to burrow into bedding and watch the snow fall outside from the comfort of a room heated by a well stoked fire. Our forays out of doors are brief and born of necessity, rather than the enjoyment of frigid weather & snow shovelling.
Perhaps you’re such a person and want to share your sentiments with kindred spirits. Perhaps you know someone who will feel seen and understood when they receive this card in the mail from you.
