Description

“I do believe something very magical can happen when you read a good book.”  J.K. Rowling

There is very little I love more than getting lost within the pages of a good book, the kind that invites you to step inside and inhabit the world the author has conjured up for your reading pleasure.

When I’m fully engrossed in a particularly engaging book, I find myself forgetting about the responsibilities of my life, until I set the book aside again.

I try to create a similar experience with my artwork by creating images inviting enough for you to step outside your current reality and enter a world of intrigue, mystery and imagination, a place where the air is electric with possibility and magic hovers enticingly just out of reach.

I believe that art, whatever form it takes, can be transformative. I believe it can be a place of sanctuary for a mind in need of rest; an oasis where we can set our burdens aside, drink fully from the cool waters, and rejuvenate ourselves before continuing on our journey.

This print is limited to an edition of 99, in addition to 3 Artist’s Proofs. All prints are 8.5″ x 11″ and are sold unframed. For more information on what you can expect with your purchase, visit my FAQ page.

I purchased this lovely illustration as I also like to get lost in the pages of a good book. Once framed it will find a special place amongst the books on the shelves.
